He emphasized that what he said was not an accusation against any party and explained that the purpose is to verify the information and if it is proven to be wrong, the case will be closed, but if it is proven that there is a problem, it should be investigated, indicating that the matter can be discussed both in the House of Representatives and in the oversight bodies.
He explained that the existence of a watchdog does not preclude the possibility of examining the issue in Parliament, noting that what he heard on the program about the existence of valid and invalid contracts deserves to be examined and it is interesting how logical a player contract worth 5 million pounds, at a time when a player could get 80 million pounds.
He noted that the clubs have budgets, auditors and general assemblies, but this does not prevent them from verifying the information or facts obtained regarding public money, stressing that Zamalek Club previously submitted reports to the prosecutor against people he said were suspected of embezzling public money.
