Rabbi Yassin: Zizou against Zamalek is technically better than Al-Ahly… and Amuta did the right thing against Imam Ashur | Al-Masri al-Yum

Rabi Yassin, a former star of Al-Ahly Club and the Egyptian national team, confirmed that Imam Ashouri represents a great artistic value, noting that the player has proven his loyalty to Al-Ahly Club and its fans. He also spoke about the level of Ashraf Ben Sharq and Zizo and the vision of Hussain Amouta with the team.
Rabbi Yassin said on CBC’s “Number One”: “Imam Ashour is a very big star with great artistic value. He is considered one of the best players in Egypt right now. He has proven his loyalty to Al-Ahly, the community and the organization and has given back everything he has technically to the fans and the club. Al-Ahly is better than his version with Zamalek.”
He added of Ashraf bin Sharq: “Bin Sharq is a very great artistic value in Al-Ahli.”
Regarding the comparison between Zizou’s experiences at Zamalek and Al-Ahly, he said: “Zizou’s version at Zamalek is better than at Al-Ahly. With the Whites he took responsibility and was one of the pillars he relied on, but at Al-Ahly he has a lot of options.”
He continued: “His best position is on the wing rather than playing in the middle because he creates danger and play and you benefit from him in scoring and scoring goals and he loves space.”
Rabbi Yassin explained that each team has its own style, saying: “Al-Ahly is the opposite of Zamalek and every school has its own unique work.”
Regarding Imam Ashour’s exclusion from the matches, Yassin confirmed that he supports Hussain Amouta’s decision, saying: “I support Amouta’s decisions to exclude Imam Ashour and it is correct because he did not participate in the pre-season due to injury.”
He added: “Amota is good because the season is long and includes many tournaments and the player has to be well prepared technically, psychologically and physically to be ready for the whole season.”
Regarding Al-Ahly’s technical director’s assessment, he said: “To judge Amuta correctly, we have to wait until the end of the first round. He is a big coach and a big name in the world of training and Al-Ahly will provide him with everything, with stars, management and fans, he will do well this season and work well with the team.”
Yassin praised Karim Al-Debi, saying: “Karim Al-Debi is a modern defender and he did the right thing by evaluating him with vision and seeing him in training.”
On the matter of renewing the players’ contracts, the former Al-Ahly star confirmed that the club’s management is moving in the right direction, saying: “Renewing the players’ contracts is the right job now and the art of Al-Ahly’s management as we look forward to today and look forward to 2030 to keep the club stable.”
