Artist Mohamed El Sharnoubi has responded to the criticism he has recently received for changing his appearance in a way that the public is not used to in the music video for his new song “Khamsa” from his album “After the Night”.

“Al-Sharnubi” was a guest on “ET Arabic” and he spoke about the reason for his appearance with a different “look” behind the scenes of the music video for his song “Khamsa”, which was recently released and received a wave of criticism.

Regarding the new look, she said: “I really understand people’s confusion. I feel like I’m happy with this version of myself. I’ve seen the reactions be really nice and I feel like my fatigue hasn’t spread to the ground.”

She continued: “And of course there were people who criticized it, and that’s normal, because the change was a bit violent. Changing my appearance and my body was part of the work I was doing on myself and part of the discovery I was making for myself. I lost 14 kilos and started as a cute, decent, polite singer who wears a nice suit, and it’s not true.
