Johiri Mollah Miss World 2026 Coronation Details

Johiri Mola was crowned Miss World 2026 during the 73rd edition of the pageant on Saturday, September 5 in Nha Trang, Vietnam.

With this coronation, Mola became the second woman from the Dominican Republic to win the Miss World title, after Mariasela Alvarez, who won the title in 1982.

Mola’s victory followed a pageant involving 111 contestants as part of the Miss World events held in conjunction with the pageant’s 75th anniversary.

The second place was taken by Spain’s Elizabeth Raines, and the third place went to Malaysia’s Tanusia Chet.

At the final stage of the competition, Molla spoke about a project related to teaching English to children and noted the importance of providing them with tools that will enable them to access better opportunities in the years to come.

The crowning of Johiri Mola as Miss World 2026 marks a new milestone in the international pageant with the presence of the Dominican Republic, more than four decades after Mariasela Alvarez won the title in 1982.
