More than just an exhibition area, the “World Market” is seen as a space of interaction, experience and communication between athletes, spectators and tourists visiting Da Nang. This was Nguyen Tan Duc’s second visit to Nang to watch the International Pickleball Championship and enjoy the world market events. He said, “The live events spread the spirit and enthusiasm of the tournament. I took some souvenir photos at the global market and picked products that I liked to continue my passion for pickleball.”
At the global market, Da Nang Green Startup Group’s pavilion attracted athletes and tourists with handmade recycled products such as bags, wallets, hair clips, keychains and other OCOP (One Product Per Community) products.

On September 6 from 8 am to 8 pm, the public will witness the crowning of champions in various categories, from singles and doubles to the open team finals at the end of the day. The difference of the program lies in its harmonious rhythm: competition, award ceremony, artistic performances and then the finale, maintaining an enthusiastic atmosphere throughout the program without waiting for a separate closing ceremony. Viewers will meet Isara Thien Nga, Hoang Bach, Only Si, Truong Quan and other artists in the program “Essence of Vietnam”.

Apart from the side activities, the competition at the tournament was interesting. After the individual competitions, the national categories held on September 3rd and 4th showcased the determination and effort of pickleball teams from around the world.
After being drawn in Group A with Colombia, Cayman Islands and Chile, the Vietnam team deservedly took first place with three wins, all 6-0. In the round of 32, the Vietnamese national team will face South Africa.
Matches will continue until September 6 at Tien Son Sports Complex and Tuyen Son, Trang Hoang, Viet Viện, Papi, Truong Son and Hop Thanh Phat sports complexes.
