A new surprise in the death of Naglaa Fathi's daughter.. Her ex-husband reveals shocking details

Egyptian director Khadr Mohamed Khadr, the ex-husband of the late Yasmin Abul Naga, daughter of Egyptian artist Naglaa Fathi, revealed new details about the last period of his life, talking about his health and the medical procedure he underwent before his death.

Details of the last hours

Khader explained in a post on his Facebook that the Spanish doctor, according to his account, expressed reservations about additional surgery on Yasmin and warned of the possibility of serious health complications.

He added that Yasmin later underwent a catheterization procedure despite the warnings he said he gave her, noting that he had made the decision to undergo the procedure without her or their daughter’s knowledge until she underwent a serious medical condition that resulted in her death.

18 years of marriage

Khader touched on his relationship with the deceased woman, explaining that their marriage lasted 18 years, during which the two parties went through different stages of life, before signs of separation began – according to him – in September 2024.

He noted that the separation took place under the circumstances and pressure that both parties experienced, pointing out that Yasmin had left the family home for some time before the divorce was officially finalized, while stressing that he did not want to reveal the personal details involved at this stage.

Friendship after divorce

Khader testified that the divorce did not break his relationship with Yasmin, as they continued to communicate through calls, letters and visits, and the relationship grew from marriage to friendship to love.

He said in his post: “I went from Yasmin’s husband to her third brother, not her ex-husband.”

He noted that Yasmin knew about his marriage after their separation and even attended his wedding, stressing that it had not caused any rift between them. He also denied the bullying that the deceased woman and her husband faced on social networks.

Refusal to disclose secrets

Khadr stressed that he refuses to know the personal and health details of the deceased, urging them to respect the privacy of their lives and not turn what happened between them into a material for discussion on social media sites.

He said, “Leave it alone and leave it to the people… We owe nothing to anyone, and we don’t need to tell anyone our secrets.”
