The atmosphere in the arena became tense as the stands were filled with fans.

Thousands of spectators, including local and international tourists, gave non-stop applause and cheers to cheer on the players, especially after the exciting exchanges.

Many parts of the stands were lit up red as fans carried national flags and wore Vietnam flag printed T-shirts and hats, creating a very enthusiastic atmosphere of support.

“As an avid pickleball player, I couldn’t miss the tournament day with its exciting finals featuring the best Vietnamese and international players. The lively atmosphere here makes me happy,” said Nguyen Quang Rien, a spectator from Hue City.

To ensure the best conditions for the spectators, the organizers are operating the cooling system at maximum capacity and have arranged additional rows of seats near the field to accommodate the athletes and spectators of the match.

The enthusiastic support of the fans not only contributed to the success of the tournament, but also helped to spread the image of the strong pickleball movement and the dynamic and welcoming city of Da Nang to international friends.

Earlier, Heineken World Cup organizers opened the stadium’s doors to the public free of charge from September 3 to 5, allowing locals and tourists to watch and cheer on the Vietnam national team. This event did not extend to the finals on September 6.
